The Bedwetter – 2019/2020

The Bedwetter is a world premiere musical by Drama Desk Award winner Joshua Harmon (Bad Jews), Emmy Award winner Sarah Silverman, and Emmy/Grammy Award winner Adam Schlesinger (Fountains of Wayne), directed by Lucille Lortel Award winner Anne Kauffman (Mary Jane).
Please note: The status of the remainder of our 2019/2020 season remains unclear at this time. The Bedwetter was scheduled to begin performances on April 25, but it has become clear that it will be delayed. However, given the ever-changing circumstances and guidelines, we are not certain how long that delay will last. As soon as we have determined when it is safe to open the show, we will contact all ticket holders and make arrangements for ticket exchanges, donations, etc. In the meantime, we thank you for your patience and grace; it is much appreciated.

A new musical by a multi award-winning creative team, based on the best-selling memoir by Sarah Silverman!

On Wednesday, April 1, our beloved friend and colleague Adam Schlesinger, composer and co-lyricist of The Bedwetter, passed away from COVID-19 complications. We are devastated. Adam was an extraordinary composer, musician, writer, and most notably, human being. We mourn the loss of this amazing man, who will be sorely missed by us all, and our thoughts go out to his family during this immeasurably difficult time. As for The Bedwetter, we have every intention of celebrating Adam’s life and talents through this show, and are doing all we can to make that possible in the near future. Stay tuned for more details.
