Adam Schlesinger is a songwriter and music producer, and a founding member of the bands Fountains Of Wayne and Ivy. He has won two Emmys and a Grammy, and has been nominated for Oscar, Tony, and Golden Globe Awards. He co-wrote and produced over 150 songs for the television show “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.” Other work includes the title song from Tom Hanks’ film That Thing You Do; the Broadway adaptation of John Waters’ Cry-Baby; original songs for the Tony Awards, performed by Neil Patrick Harris; production and original songs for The Monkees’ albums Good Times and Christmas Party; and Stephen Colbert’s A Colbert Christmas: The Greatest Gift Of All.
