Sarah Shin

American Steel

Sarah Shin (Stage Directions, American Steel) is a Korean American theatre artist whose work lives at the intersection of cultural work, creative leadership, and community engagement. She’s previously shared her work as an actor, director, and producer at theaters such as the Public Theater, Chuang Stage, American Repertory Theater, Clubbed Thumb, Ma-Yi Theater, Central Square Theater, McCarter Theatre Center, Shakespeare & Co., Mile Square Theater, New York Theatre Workshop, and universities across the Northeast. She is also co-founder of the social collectives Asian American Theatre Artists of Boston (AATAB) and Queer Asian Babes, a member of the fourth cohort of Roundabout Director’s Group, and the 2025 Pfaelzer Award Recipient at New York Stage and Film.
