MAYA CIARROCCHI is a New York City based interdisciplinary artist and projections designer. Her work has been exhibited nationally and abroad and in such New York venues as the Anthology Film Archives, The Chocolate Factory, The Invisible Dog, JACK, and New York Live Arts. She has been an artist in residence at the Baryshnikov Arts Center, the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, and the Ucross Foundation and has received project funding from the Franklin Furnace Fund, the Jerome and Puffin Foundations and the MAP Fund. She is the recipient of a Jeff and New York Dance and Performance Award (Bessie) for projections design and has collaborated with choreographers and directors such as Ping Chong, David Cromer, Merce Cunningham, Kristin Marting and Talvin Wilks among many others.
