Avery Rose Pedell

Director, Bone by Bone

Avery Rose Pedell (Director, Bone by Bone) (they/she) is a Brooklyn-based theater artist who is especially passionate about telling queer and feminist stories. Recent directing work includes The End of All Flesh (The Wild Project/The Magnet; NYC Fringe Festival, Best Musical), Bone By Bone (National Queer Theater), bby/mmy (The Tank; Limefest) and The Eulogy Approach (Theatre Row). Avery has also done developmental work with The Exponential Festival at Target Margin Theater and the Evolution Festival at The Center at West Park. Avery received a BA from Wesleyan University in Theater and Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies where they earned the Carol B. Ohmann Prize for their original play Elsie’s Death Party… Avery studied acting at the Moscow Art Theatre and can be seen on television shows such as “And Just Like That,” “Blue Bloods,” and “Law & Order: SVU.” (Insta: @averyrose23, http://averyrosepedell.com)
