Based on the award-winning book of the same name, this witty parody reinvents the meaning of fairytale, lampooning childhood fables and wreaking havoc on the all too familiar phrases “Once upon a time…” and “Happily ever after.”
The Ugly Duckling grows up to be, not a swan, but the Really Ugly Duck. Cinderella snubs Rumplestiltskin, the Princess kisses a frog only to end up with a mouthful of slime, and Chicken Licken is running around like a…well…you know.
