JESUS E. MARTINEZ is humbled and excited to be a part of African Caribbean MixFest! As a native New Yorker of Dominican descent, Jesus is a bilingual actor/voice actor who’s been in the industry for over 17 years and counting. He’s lended his voice to numerous radio/TV ad campaigns, radio/film/TV productions, audiobooks, video games, museum tours and more! He’s also a proud ensemble member of the New York based Latinx theater companies of Repertorio Español, Pregones/PRTT and Society of the Educational Arts (SEA). He was recently featured in the West Coast Premiere of John Leguizamo’s musical comedy Kiss My Aztec, starred in the New York Spanish-language version of The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao theatrical production, and will be featured in the upcoming film Little Squares, and playing the role of “Papi” in the animated series “Alma’s Way” (PBS Kids) both slated to be released later in 2021.
