Mayelah Barrera (Roja, Roja) is an actress, singer, and dancer from Monterrey, Mexico. A graduate of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York, her credits include Desaparecidas, co-starring as Fátima in its sold-out run; Much Ado About Nothing with The Public Theater’s Mobile Unit; Canciones (Off-Off Broadway); and In Her Bones (regional). She made her New York stage debut in TheaterWorks’ El Otro Oz, later joining its national tour, and has performed at Lincoln Center alongside Jaime Lozano & La Familia. IG: @Mayelahbarreram
