MATT CASTLE (Music Director) has played, sung, directed and/or developed more than 75 new musicals at Sundance Institute, New York University, Playwrights Horizons, York Theatre Company, NAMT, Barrington Stage Company, Weston Playhouse, Waterfront Playhouse, Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, Signature Theatre Company, New York Musical Theatre Festival, Theatreworks USA, and CAP21. Other New York and regional credits include Transport Group, Mark Taper Forum, Cape Playhouse and the New York workshops of Just in Time and My Life Is a Musical. He has played for many cabarets and specialty acts, most recently Robert Creighton on Disney Cruise Lines. As an actor/musician, Matt performed in the 2007 Broadway revival of Company; the original Off-Broadway casts of The Musical of Musicals (The Musical!), Enter Laughing and LingoLand; and Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park’s Company and Merrily We Roll Along. Upcoming projects include Into the Woods (as musical director and co-orchestrator) at Roundabout; a chamber music recording with Emerald Trio (as pianist); and the workshop of Terry Quinn & Tom Wallace’s Songs of Loss & Love (as director).
